Virtual Warm Weather Hide Work
Virtual Warm Weather Hide Work is the last VIRTUAL session of 4-Season Moose Hide Tanning, and I am hosting it three times this spring. That means you have 3 opportunities to learn how I finish tanning moose hides! If you’ve joined me for Fall Hide Work and Winter Hide Work, you don’t want to miss this last session. At this point our hides are frost scraped and freeze dried, and ready for brain and more work.
Session dates are:
April 22, 2023 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
May 17, 2023 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
June 3, 2023 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
all in Central Daylight Time

- “Braining” hide
- Pre-smoking hide
- Soaking and wringing out brain juice
- Softening
- … and repeat
- Final smoke
- Punky wood
- Tools and equipment used
This event is intended for and free to individual learners. If you work with an organization that has a budget for teachings like this, please consider hiring me to present to your group.
Participants are to respect the space and people you're sharing it with. This event will not be recorded.
Registration will remain open until June 3, 2023 at 10 a.m. Registrants will receive the zoom information by email the day of the session being delivered (check your spam folder if you don't see it). Please only register once and ensure the email you enter is correct. I will email registrants for every session. I won't track down emails that bounce back to me or respond to messages about the zoom room the day before the session.
